Kassie is a Physiotherapist who has specialised in vocational rehabilitation services and ergonomic project management over the last 12 years. Her focus has always been on creating an environment that minimises work related injuries and optimises work performance.

Kassie has a wealth of experience across a diverse range of industries including transport and distribution, manufacturing, catering, hospitality, laundering, health sector, information technology and office environments. She has been involved in all aspects of service provision, from planning, through policy, procedure and program development, implementation, competency based training, compliance monitoring and evaluation. These services include:

• Preventative health and safety strategies that aim to reduce the risk of injury and loss in the workplace e.g. ergonomic assessment, training and pre-employment assessments;

Rehabilitation services that promote the appropriate and timely return to work of injured workers e.g. functional capacity evaluations, workplace evaluations, development of suitable duties programs, injury case management, provision of multi-disciplinary pain management services and work conditioning programs;

 

Kassie has also had lecturing experience and has presented papers at professional and industry conferences and workshops.
